K·C·尼古勞（Kyriacos Costa Nicolaou，1946年6月5日-），?出生于賽普勒斯卡拉瓦斯，畢業(yè)于倫敦大學，曾任加利福尼亞大學化學教授，斯克里普斯研究所教授等，賽普勒斯裔美國化學家，有機合成大師級人物之一。他在天然產(chǎn)物全合成、全合成策略領(lǐng)域卓有成就，合成了包括紫杉醇在內(nèi)的數(shù)十個標志性分子。

經(jīng)歷

1946年 在賽普勒斯卡拉瓦斯出生，希臘裔。他在那念書、長大，直至 18 歲。

1964年 來到英國，學了兩年英語，后進入倫敦大學學習化學。1969年 在 Bedford College 取得理學學位。

1972年 取得倫敦大學學院博士學位，師從 F. Sondheimer 和 P. J. Garratt 教授。

1972年 來到美國，在哥倫比亞大學（1972－1973，師從 T. J. Katz 教授），哈佛大學（1973－1976，師從 E. J. Corey），獲博士后。后成為賓夕法尼亞大學的 Rhodes-Thompson 化學教授。

1989年 被任命為圣地牙哥加利福尼亞大學化學教授，斯克里普斯研究所（Scripps Research Institute）Darlene Shiley 教授、化學系主任。

1996年 被任命為 Scripps 研究所的 Aline W. 和 L.S. Skaggs 化學生物學教授。
