The JaneDear Girls 兩位成員Susie Brown和Danelle Leverett在納什維爾的一個(gè)作詞人的音樂(lè)會(huì)初次見(jiàn)面的。經(jīng)作詞人Kris Bergsnes介紹后，兩人相識(shí)并開(kāi)始一起寫(xiě)歌，后來(lái)也接受Bergsnes的建議，決定組成團(tuán)體。

兩人簽約于 Reprise Records納什維爾分公司。Big & Rich（美國(guó)鄉(xiāng)村組合）成員John Rich成為她們的制作人和指導(dǎo)。2010年中期，Reprise公司發(fā)行了她們首支單曲"Wildflower."在鄉(xiāng)村單曲榜最高到達(dá)15位。第二首單曲Shotgun Girl于2011年3月21日在村臺(tái)開(kāi)始打榜，首周55位。
